If you want to learn electronic and programming, the UNO board is made for you.
It is based on an Atmel Atmega 328P and has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz quartz crystal, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, USB Connector
The Uno board is as you can see an arduino Uno board equivalent and comes with the same characteristics but a better price.
You can easily plug different sensors, LCD display, keypad, 3D printer and more for your project.
Don't hesitate and make an order to start prototyping. You will for sure find a tutorial that you would like on www.arduino.org.
