This workshop's purpose is to help beginners to realise a 3D object From A to Z for beginners.

 

We use a free and open-source software called ''Freecad' that is a parametric 3D modeler made primarily to design real-life object of any size. It allows you to modify your design back going into your Model history.

 

Freecad is multiplatofrm (Windows, Mac OS and Linux).

 

At the end of the 2 day workshop, you will know the software interface and the rules for modeling and the process to make an entire project.

 

This course is made for beginner and people that wish to improve their skills in 3D modeling for 3D printing.

 

Program :

 

 

  • Introduction to the software interface

  • Initiation to 2D drawing

  • Introduction to 3D modeling

  • Create your 1st object

  • Discovery of the differents tools to facilitate your job

  • Exercise : Creation of differents projects on scale to learn the interface

 

This workshop will enroll up to 8 people per session in Washington DC
