Teen Techathon on February 11th 2017 in Washington DC

Hi everybody,

Happy to see you again for a new article. Next month (February) is the Black history month. And for that special occasion, the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial Library in Washington DC hosts a special event for the kids around STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics) and also for the adults.

This day is called TEEN TECHATHON and will be hosted on February 11th from 10 am to 5 pm.

During that day, you will be able to find differents activities, workshops (create video game with Scratch, programming, Arduino and more )for the teenagers (12 years old and older) with some sponsors like Microsoft, NASA and more.

You can also find some presentations that everybody can enjoy with differents speakers. You don't need tickets but make sure to arrive early because of the number of seats.

We (Makersgeneration) will be there to entertain your teens with an electronic workshop during that event. They'll be able to build their own electronic car and discover some electronic components at the same time. The schedule for this activity is from 10am to 12pm, so be there a little bit before 10 am and make sure you got a seat for the workshop.

Don't forget, this is a free event. So come with all your family and friends to spend a good time.
