Kidfest 2017: The STEM event in Downtown Silver Spring Maryland
Hi everyone,
It's Mike Makers. I want to share with a very good news.
If you live in the Washington DC area, you are maybe familiar with all the STEM events that happens every week for the kids, the teens and the adults (crafting, programming, electronics, robotic with Arduino, Raspberry pi, 3D printing and more).
To put a big emphasis on the second part of the year, Kid-museum organises Kidfest. Kidfest is a new version of the older Silver Spring Maker Faire with a Kid Museum touch and new ideas for the kids and the public.
The event is scheduled on September 24th 2017 from 12pm to 5 PM at the veteran plaza in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland ( 8523 Fenton St, Silver Spring, MD 20910). For all of you that live in the DMV (Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia) and even beyond, It's the good time to come and discover all the projects made by the makers.
Makers, hackers, artists, hands-on activies, family project, crafting, inventers, all this to make you discover more on technology and science.
Remember, the event is free and so do the parking.
