Maryland STEM Festival 2019: STEM for kids in Maryland - Learn more on Augmented Reality

How is everything?
We are in October finally. Time is going so fast and you are looking for things to do with your kids in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Maryland STEM Festival - STEM for all in Maryland
I got good news for you about this fall. It's about a big STEM event that happens every year about the same period. If you haven't guessed, I'm talking about the Maryland STEM Festival.
Maryland STEM Festival October and November 2019
For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a celebration of Science, Techonology, Engineering and Mathematics that last one month this year. It starts on October 11th to finish on November 10th 2019. This will be a month full with STEM for your children for all of you living in Washington DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia and even Pennsylvania for some of you.
Activities available for the Maryland STEM Festival
Activities are hosted all across Maryland by small groups, companies, individuals, non-profit, makers and schools. Thematics that you can find may vary from: learn how to use a 3D printer, Learn how to code, electronics, hands-on activities for younger kids, learn how to make a robot and more
Kids in STEM in Maryland
On our Side, Makersgeneration will also be part of the STEM festival with diverse activities every week during all that period. To start, we will meet you on October 12th 2019 at the following adress:
USRA STEMAction Center, 7178 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia , MD 21046
Program for the STEM afternoon -Virtual Reality - Augmented Reality.
It will be from 2 to 5 pm with also other organisations (Robotics, coding, hands-on activities, etc). We (makersgeneration) will focus mainly on Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality with the following plan:
An intro to what is Virtual reality
An intro to Augmented reality
How to make it work
Differents way of using Augmented Reality
Play video game with tablet and Augmented reality
