Online live coding class for kids: Learn to code from scratch - STEM - 6

Hi everyone,

I just want to share this reminder with you about the nice weekly activities we are doing with the kids

We do an online coding class for younger children. It's a couple of classes during the following week-ends to help them assimilate what they have learned and improve themselves along.

What do you need

The classes on coding for kids are for beginners and they do not need a prior experience in coding. So to start, you and your kids will need the following:

A computer
An internet connection
The Zoom application pre-installed on your computer ( It does take some time to install)
and a browser ( I advise you "Google Chrome'' to start)

STEM Program of class

In this course, will see:

The basis of coding
First approach to the coding interface
And their first code
A show and tell of a game made by me (A different game each Saturdays during the Scratch series)

Bonus

The bonus for the online STEM classes compared to 2020 are the following:

A Q&A at the end of the class
A small PDF of the class
A PDF of the topic (e.g: How to install the software, A tour of the software interface, etc, depending of the topic)
10 more minutes compared to 2020

If your children are somehow between 7 and 12 years old and are desire to learn how to code. Come join us for 40 minutes from 4 pm to 4:40 pm on:

The class will be on Zoom. For those of you who don’t know zoom, it’s an online video platform (Don’t forget to download the app before the class, smartphone, tablet or computer). Have a look at “https://zoom.us”.
