You are like me and love rocket. You couldn't miss a NASA rocket launch in the TV back in the day. That was a big thing though.


But why not making my own rocket. That crossed you or your kids mind a thousand times. Then, it can be done. A thousand time as well but let stop at a really simple way. Propulsion with water.


Yes, yes! If you are looking for outdoor fun activities or entertainment for kids in DC and Maryland, you are at the right place. We will see how to build a water propelled rocket toy.

Where to park


There is a parking garage entrance on Fenton and Cameron street. It's free on Weekend. you can also park in the street at no charge.


What do I need to bring


The event is free. But for everybody to participate and enjoy it at it's maximum, please bring:

  • 1 gallon of water

  • 1 bottle of water 32 oz. Choose the following bottles. It's very IMPORTANT.

  • A Smartwater bottle, a Dasani or a 32 oz or around of a Fanta or Coke bottle.
